For the first time in history, ITHS Senior Girls Section visited Mirpur Scholastica for a game that has never been attempted before by our students, Handball.
The Handball game was first introduced to Girls Section by our PE teacher Monoara Miss just this year. Even after having inexperienced players and visiting a completely new turf, the players showed formidable force.
The tournament was held among 5 prestigious schools including ITHS, Sunnydale, Sunbeams, Scholastica, and Green Herald. Even though other teams had more experience, ITHS showed remarkable strength with team members such as Ayse Reyhan (7th Grade) who scored the most along with strong defense players such as Nalan Carpan (9th Grade), Zarin Subah (8th Grade), Maliha Binte (8th grade) Marzana
(8th) and Safa Akter Noor (9th).
Even though we couldn't secure a position, Monoara Miss is confident that with a strong goalkeeper and defense, ITHS Senior Girls Section will take home the trophy in no time.
