IFLC Mozambique
Maputo city, in Mozambique opened his doors to celebrate peace in the world through culture. Maputo hosted the 14th International Festival of Language and Culture – “Colors of the World” for the second year.
Maputo became on that day the World Capital of Culture as she hosted countries all around the world: from the neighbors South Africa and Zambia passing by Turkey, Ukraine, Angola, Iraqi, Kazakhstan, USA, Tunisia, Uganda, Brazil, Germany, Bangladesh, and Romania to Belarus.
Young talents shared their cultural and linguistic identities in many TV and radio shows before the big night. They also had the chance of experiencing local historical and cultural sights.
March 26, 2016 was the climax of a series of activities to celebrate diverse cultural heritages at the Cultural Center of Eduardo Mondlane University. Students performed amazing songs from their home countries, spread their smiles and dancers exhibited wonderful choreographies.
