Bangla Olympiad Award Ceremony

In tribute to all martyrs of 1952 every year International Turkish Hope School celebrates the International Mother Language Day by organizing a Bangla Olympiad.Earlier, till last year this occasion had been celebrated in its own yard. This is the first year the school organized an inter-school competition on 15^th February where twelve different institutions with a total number of eighteen separate branches participated in four different categories. Around two hundred and fifty talented competitors competed in that day long program. On 22^nd February, Saturday at afternoon the Award Distribution Ceremony of this 4^th Bangla Olympiad was held.

Bedrettin Suata, the Chairman and Principal of the institution inaugurated the event with a warm welcome note.  In his keynote he said, ‘By holding this Bangla Olympiad, we want to create a platform where students learn how to value their own language. It not only is a way to show respect to the martyrs but also creates an opportunity to develop the same patriotism in all students who are going to lead the future.’
Honorable Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman Fizar was present in this grand program as the Chief Guest who distributed the awards to the winners. In his speech he said, ‘I am glad to be here in Int’l Turkish Hope School for the 4^th Inter-school Bangla Olympiad. This has been an amazing program so far, I would rather say excellent program. I never thought that there was such program going on in Bangladesh. I believe that these children will take our country to a higher level. Int’l Turkish Hope School plays a significant role to take our country to an expected level. I thank Int’l Turkish Hope School for celebrating this event in such manner.
