CLASS 8AB & PREP CLASS ARE @ PICNIC

 
The students of class 8AB and Preparatory Class enjoyed a picnic at a picnic spot. It was a wonderful spring morning; the students had lots of fun through games and various entertainments and relished their delicious food with their teachers. The class teachers Ms. Gokcen and Mrs.Munni  were present to spend time with their students outside the school.

Sports Day of Girls’ Senior Section

The Sports Day of I.T.H.S Girls’ Section (class 6-8) took place on Saturday, 03 March. On a bright morning, at the arrival of spring, students kept coming from 8.00 a.m. to the field of the main campus to join in the events of the annual sports.
 The concerned teacher Ms. Kainath Chowdhurry, organizer for the events, received the children one by one.  A good number of interesting track and field games and sports were in the list: 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 1600 m races, suicide run, long jump, relay race, sack race were among all. 
It started at around 10.00 am formally. Each event students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position were applauded and the class-wise competitions gained more enthusiasm by the spectators. Students’ impulsiveness was overpowering. Especially the total turn out from class 7B and Prep Class was appreciated. The most attention-grabbing events of the day were the sack race and bucket-filling games among all the teachers of our section. The cheering students burst into playful fun as the events were going on. 
Head of Section Mr. Yavuz Koca and Turkish Language teacher Mr. Lutfi Ak were present with other teachers to give students morale and encouragement. The sports day ended peacefully in fun and high spirits.

Second Bangla Olympiad Held at Int'l Turkish Hope School

Second Bangla Olympiad Competition and prize distribution ceremony held at the main campus of International Turkish Hope School on 25th February, 2012.  The program also hosted distinguished guests including Mr. Jinnat Imtiaz Ali -  Prof. of Linguistics University of Dhaka as Chief Guest, Mr Helal Morshed - Chairman of Bangladesh Freedom Fighters Council as Special Guest and  HE  Mr. Vakur Erkul - Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bangladesh as Guest of Honour. Prof. Dr. Farrukh Ahmed – Chairman of Turkish Language Department Dhaka University, Mr. Adnan Ozturk First Secretary of the Turkish Embassy in Bangladesh, Mr. Murray Keeler – Head of Examinations British Council. Initially around 900 students participated in this Bangla Olympiad from all its branches of International Turkish Hope School. Competition held in five categories, in two groups. Essay, Painting, Poem Recitation, Singing for Bangladeshi Students & Singing for Foreign Students.

Art Competition: In Celebration of 21st Feburay (Int'l Mother Language Day)


 The morning of 14th  February started with a splash of vivid colors in the multimedia room of the Girls' Section. Students from different classes and different nations participated in the art competition held in celebration of International Mother Language Day and drew beautiful pictures on the topic "My Country". The enthusiasm and thrill among the 40 students filled the air with a jittery excitement. from the one and a half hour of hardwork from our students we selected 3 drawings to be a little more profound in expressing the the topic than others. Quiz Competition on February 12, 2012

The auspicious month of Eid-E-Miladun-Nabi arrived in Girls' Section with a book Reading spree! Our teachers organised a quiz competition on the 12th  February, based on a book name "Infinite Light" recounting the spiritual days from our Prophet Muhammad's life. Most of the students took part in this competition after reading the book in a week's time. After the quiz we got a few people with appreciative results.

So we have begun our fireball matches from last week on 5th of December with all the classes in a high spirit…
          Knockout Matches:
05.12.11: 1st day- 6/A vs 7/A   : 7/A wins with 12 lives
07.12.11: 2nd day- 7/B vs 6/B   : 7/B wins with 5 lives
08.12.11: 3rd day – 8A/B vs 9A/B  : 8A/B wins with 3 lives
11.12.11: 4th day- 10A/B vs 11A/B: 11A/B wins by a 40 second longer stay

After a struggling and thrilling match between two neighbor sections of Grade 7, 7B has got the triumph for The Fireball Championship in this academic year.

Celebrating Victory Day

Yesterday (15th December, 2011), in our multi-media room, we commemorate The Victory Day on the occasion of 40th annual celebration of Bangladeshi freedom. In this joyful day, the students enchanted with songs and poems. Additionally, the prizes for the Essay and Poem competition which was hold for the tribute of Victory Day were distributed by our Head of Section and Senior Deputy Head. The essay writing winner is Ayesha Abrar Nawshin (class 8A) and the Poem writing winner is Najia Sharmin Aishy (Class 7B). We all once again to celebrate Victory Day of our guardians and all the other citizens of Bangladeshi with our heartiest wishes:  Joy Bangla! Banglar Joy!

Badminton Tournament

  For the first time in ITHS we have had a Badminton Tournament for Girls` Section, on the 10th of December,2011. All the enthusiastic girls gathered in Main Campus and filled the air with rackets and corks. The game began with class 6 girls and the cheers and chants from the other participants brought up the energy levels for the players. After hours of rick-racketing we eventually got to our final match of Jannat Sultana from class 6 versus Zahra Aminian from class 10.After a nice friendly match Zahra got the 1st place with a score of 0-7.Hopefully we can continue such activities to bring out more wonderful players!

CLASS 9 EFFORTS FOR CHARITY

Every year our school does charity for the poor and helpless people during Eid. This year class 9 led by Hamide Miss enlightened the hearts of the poor people and their Eid.

Turkish Language Olympiads in ITHS Girls Section

ITHS Girls Senior Section, Turkish Language Teachers organized a mini-Turkish Olympiads to encourage to students engage in Turkish Language. Many students from class6 to 8 participated in the competition which had singing and reciting poem categories. Having been trained regularly for two months after school-time, the students were observed to be so excited and also determined to perform since the winner will have the great chance of going to Turkey to represent Bangladesh in 10th International Turkish Olympiads. After the heart-beating time for jury marking for all the competitors, the results were announced. Senior Deputy Head Mr. Idris Koken has handed over the presents to the winners and congratulated them on their outstanding performances.
