Winter Donation
As temperatures start to drop this month, School Magazine
Club of ITHS Girls Section has launched its annual winter clothing drive.
Donations of coats, sweaters, blankets and warm accessories collected within
our school have been handed over Leonard Cheshire Disability Foundation located in Sector
9, Uttara. The goods have been distributed by the members of the club along
with their teachers Ms. Hamide and Ms. Menekse to the residents of this locally
managed NGO which works to promote equal opportunity and full participation of
persons with disabilities in all areas of society. Not only this endowment has ensured
that no handicapped will face the cold weather without adequate protection, but
also has it significantly raised the social-consciousness
of our students.
