6-A Become Fireball Champion

International Turkish Hope School girls section has arranged fireball tournament for their students this month. The students were enthusiastic as well as excited for this change to take place after a long time. The participants were from grade 6 to 8. The first match was held between 6-A and 6-B, and 6-A took the match with victory. The second match was with 7-A and 7-B, and this time section A won. The following match was between 8-A and 8-B, and again section B proved them worthy. The matches continued between 7-B and 6-B, 7-B made their places to semi-finals. The semi-finals were held between 8-B and 7-B, and 8-B unlocked their way to finals. At last the finals took place and with the final came an incredible match between 8-B and 6-A, and 6-A won the cup with great glory.

Book Fair

To inspire the students of our school and devote them to read a few hours a day and get attached to reading, ITHS held a book fair in the month of October which turned out to be a great success. All the students came out and either presented a story written by themselves, sold various books of many kinds or dressed up as their favourite character from certain book or even donated a few books to our school library. Exclusively for grade 8 there was an extra category in the fair which was showing a video or trailer of the book they would present or any other book.
This tremendous program was organised by the senior section teachers. The book fair was visited by several teachers including the head of section of our school Mr. Idris Koken, the deputy head Mr. Ozer and all the students from different grades.

Certificate of Success in Turkish Exam

International Turkish Language Teaching Association organized Turkish Language exams in the last semester. Our students attended  and had become successful in those exams. 
Our Turkish Language teacher Mr. Ahmet Makan and Deputy Head of Section Mr. Ozer Albayrak  distributed the certificate among the successful students in that exam.
This exam is designed in accordance with European Language Criteria and the certificates are valid for many countries including Turkey.

Amazing Cell Cakes Done by 6th Graders

The students of Grade-6 Prepared amazing Cell cakes to represent the structure of a cell in human body with the supervision of our Biology Teacher Mr. Rockib.

Certificate and Medal Given to Successful Students in Turkish Olympiad

This year four of our students (Sadia Afrin Adra, Sadia Afrin Jemmy, Maria Sultana Limu and Nalan Zehra Carpan) participated in the 10th Turkish Olympiad and brought success for us. In that event Sadia Afrin Jemmy got Gold Medal in Poem Recitation, Sadia Afrin Adra got Silver in Singing and Limu & Nalan got bronze medals.Our Head of Section Mr. Idris Koken distributed the certificates and medals among them.

Social Activity Club Distributed Rice Among the Poor People

The Social Activity Club of ITHS Girls Section collected rice from teachers and students and distributed them among the poor inhabitants of Uttara on 16th September. Our teachers Mr. Ali Kara and Ms. Basma Binte Mahbub accompanied with the students.

Iftar Parties With Students

ITHS Girls Section organized Iftar parties for its students during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
They have enjoyed their iftar with their teachers, guides. Our Head of Section Mr. Idris Koken was also present in those iftar parties.
