Maths Stay-Over of Grade 10

.

With the aim of creating an opportunity for the students to amend Mathematics-B preparation; the students of Grade 10  had a stay over in the hostel of the school on 22^nd September, 2016.  In pre-arranged study groups, the students were monitored and accompanied by the senior students of our school who have already obtained excellent results in their subjects by which they gained peer teaching experience. 

Concluding their group study sessions at  school at 9.45 pm with a challenging and pleasurable Quiz Competition titled as 'Maths in a Nutshell Night-Show' the students had the rest part of the fun and the entertainment in the hostel with their class teacher.

Seminar On Higher Study in Bangladesh

A level students were given a comprehensive seminar on Higher Study in Bangladesh. In this seminar, students were shown all the  aspects of studying in Bangladesh. Admission Test eligibility and selection procedures of Bangladeshi Universities and Medical Colleges. Students got their doubts cleared through an interactive session.

ITHS hopes to arrange more seminars like this to let students know about all avaible scopes and necessary information for choosing their future careers.

Children Science Congress

BFF- SPSB Children Science Congress is the first and only scientific conference for the children in Bangladesh where youngsters present their research.

British Council Reading Competition

The British Council and Daffodil Education Network (DEN) have jointly launched a Book Reading Competition aimed at celebrating World Book Day 2016 in Bangladesh. This is the 4th consecutive year of this competition designed to promote the reading habit among children and adults and to provide pleasure through reading. Informed by their language teachers Ms.Hamide on this competitive reading journey, ITHS students immediately collected their books and participated in a written test after months of reading, reviewing and examining.

Robotics Club

We are having a new club in 2016-2017 Academic Year. Our students are learning how to design and program a robot in their ''Robotics Club''.

They are practicing with Lego Mindstorms EV3 Education Set which provides them an intuitive and enjoyable platform.In future, we hope that Robotic Club members will be representing Bangladesh with their projects in overseas.

11 - B is The Best Decorated Class

Last month the most creative competition was held at our school and showcased some of the most spectacular creations ever! The end results of the competitions were categorized into two groups; Class 6 - 8 and 9 - 12.

Future Environmentalists are Working

Students of Environmental Awareness Club thought of some ways that old t-shirts, jars, plastic bottles, used papers could be reused.They made mini-board, pencil boxes, vase, flowerpot and bags.At the end,they enjoyed the idea that they recycled the used materials to avoid dirtiness and wasting.
